Starks looking to run fast time
Posted by on February 27, 2010 – 6:00 amUB RB James Starks is 100 healthy as he’s fully recovered from shoulder surgery that cost him his senior season.
When asked what he expects to run, Starks set the bar high, or in this case low.
“I’m hoping to run 4.3,” said Starks who will work out fully.
If Starks runs anything under 4.4 he’s going to move up on draft boards pretty quickly. After missing his senior season because of a shoulder injury that required surgery, he’s healthy and eager to make the most of his combine workout.
“It’s just an honor,” he said. “God blessed me with an opportunity like this, not to play my whole senior year, and (still) be able to come out here and compete with the best athletes in the nation is an honor.”
