The report came out over the weekend, but today (Monday) is the day Josh Reed is scheduled to meet with the New England Patriots.
ProFootballTalk reported the visit initially. Reed would appear to be an insurance policy for the Patriots in the slot, should Wes Welker not be ready in time for the start of the season after suffering a late season ACL injury in 2009.
Reed was informed by the Bills late last month that he would not be extended a contract offer by the club.
