Bills free agent visitor Dwan Edwards insists his neck his fine. The defensive lineman spoke during his visit today (Tuesday). Perhaps more convincing is the fact that he played a full season after neck surgery with no problems and Buffalo’s doctors gave him the thumbs up.
That according to Edwards himself.
“I don’t have any issues,” Edwards said. “I’ve been cleared to play by the doctor that did my surgery. I saw the spine guy here today, Dr. Cappuccino and he said everything looked good. Different doctors are going to have different opinions on what they see, but so far so good here.”
Edwards had spinal fusion surgery, which cost him his 2008 season, a year when he thought he was going to have a breakout season.
With the physical out of the way, the Bills can focus on how he would fit and what it would take to get him on the roster.
