The Associated Press is reporting that a draft pick in the top 42 would be enough to acquire Eagles QB Donovan McNabb by trade. Guess which team has the 41st pick in the 2010 draft?
Buffalo, rumored to be one of the teams interested in McNabb holds the 41st overall pick in round two. St. Louis and Oakland also hold picks in the second round that are high enough as well (33rd, 39th).
The Raiders right now are considered the frontrunner for McNabb according to the report.
A deterrent to a trade is McNabb’s contract, which has just one year remaining. Teams would be reluctant to give up a high second-round pick without a long term deal in place with McNabb first.
