The Bills aren’t the only NFL club getting up close and personal with Jimmy Clausen this weekend. Right after his pro day workout Friday, another NFL team had him perform a private workout.
According to NFL.com’s Gil Brandt, Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates and quarterbacks coach Jedd Fisch put him through the paces. Clausen revealed to ESPN that he’ll be meeting with the Bills on Saturday and then will head to St. Louis to have a private meeting with the Rams before returning to South Bend for a private workout with the Redskins on the 15th.
It is not out of the realm of possibility to see Clausen go sixth to the Seahawks despite the trade of Charlie Whitehurst or even seventh to the Browns, who do not have a long term answer at QB.
