There were reports that USC OT Charles Brown had medical issues that caused him to slip on day two of the draft before being ultimately taken at the end of round two by the New Orleans Saints. But that wasn’t the case as far as the Bills were concerned.
“No, he did not have a medical issue for us,” said Bills VP of College Scouting Tom Modrak. “Our medical situation is pass, fail or something in between. And he was not a fail. It’s easier for me because we’ll identify guys that have problems, nicks, that kind of thing, but they don’t fail. He did not fail.”
So Brown’s slide was due to some other factor apparently.
