With reports now surfacing that Redskins WR Santana Moss had an association with Canadian Dr. Anthony Galea, who was accused of drug smuggling and illegal distribution of HGH among other things, PEDs in general are getting much more attention in the D.C. area. But one columnist provided some very compelling insight to the issue of some of these “treatments” that might not be as black and white as they’re made out to be.
Washington Post columnist Sally Jenkins, who has been covering sports for 25 years, really asks some worthwhile questions and doesn’t just lump all of these avenues that pro athletes pursue medically as all the same thing. Suffice to say it made me think about where this stuff is all headed, especially if PRPs are more treatment than cheating.
