Bills WR Lee Evans has been through his share of coordinators and offenses in his six seasons with the Bills. He believes Chan Gailey and his history of success has the potential to turn a lot of the kinds of games Buffalo lost last season into wins.
“For one he’s done it before and number two I feel like his way of coaching and running this offense can work,” Evans told Buffalobills.com. “But the bottom line is there’s a real fine line between winning and losing. We’ve been on the brink of wins and losses in the past. Hopefully his style of coaching and the way he runs things will help us get over the hump. We’re right there, we’ve just got to get over that little bitty hump and we can take the next step.”
One thing that’s clear with respect to the players on this roster. They’ve completely bought into Gailey’s approach and genuinely believe their head coach can improve their fortunes on offense and more importantly in the fourth quarter when a lot of their opportunities to win games last year fizzled.
Having everyone on board was step one and it appears that has already been accomplished.
