Time is running out to nominate a Citizen of the Year.
The Buffalo Bills Alumni Association is accepting applications for the 4th Annual Citizen of the Year Award only up until June 30, 2010. Applications may be found by logging on the Buffalo Bills Alumni’s website.
The Citizen of the Year Award recognizes an individual with outstanding leadership, citizenship and professional achievement in the community, while demonstrating exemplary vision, civic pride and commitment to the betterment of society.
The nomination criteria are that the nominated individual should live in the Western New York area, and his or her activities should be centered there also. Recognition will be given for leadership and professional performance in several areas of community service over a period of years.
The individual recognized does not have to be a member of any club, group, organization or the business community. He or she may be an individual from any walk of life, and there are no requirements or restrictions relating to gender, race, religion or ethnicity
Buffalo Bills Alumni Association President, Booker Edgerson, will make the official presentation at the Monday Quarterback Club luncheon in October at HSBC Arena’s Harbor Club.
