Another pick close to Spiller signs
Posted by on July 30, 2010 – 3:00 pmAnother first-round pick in close proximity to C.J. Spiller has agreed to terms in an afternoon flurry of first-round signings.
San Francisco first-round pick Anthony Davis agreed to a contract today for five years and $26.5 M with almost $16M guaranteed. Davis was the 11th overall pick, just two spots after Spiller. One potential problem is between the eighth pick and the 11th pick the difference in total contract dollars is $13.5 million. That looks like a wide gap to navigate for both the Bills and Jaguars at ninth and 10th overall respectively.
With a handful of first-round pick signing today, there are now 15 first rounders signed and 17 still unsigned.
