Patriots QB Tom Brady had some glowing comments for one of his two new rookie tight ends and Western New York native Rob Gronkowski.
“He’s done a great job. He’s a young player,” said Brady. “I think he just turned 21, but since the day that he got here he’s made an impact on the team with both his blocking and what he’s been able to do for us in the passing game. He’s a big kid, really strong, he’s got real good speed. It’s just a matter of getting him more involved. He’s proven every week that he’s capable of doing some real good things in our offense so we’re trying to find ways to incorporate him more.”
Gronkowski is a Williamsville, NY native that played his college ball at Arizona.
