Terrence McGee did not practice again on Friday and Bills head coach Chan Gailey did not sound optimistic about his cornerback’s availability for Sunday’s game against the Jets.
“I would give him at least questionable,” said Gailey as far as a status for McGee. “Hopefully questionable.”
When asked if he meant questionable or better, or questionable or worse, Gailey said, “questionable or worse.”
Worse is obviously doubtful. So it’s likely that Leodis McKelvin will be starting opposite Drayton Florence on Sunday.
McGee is dealing with residual soreness in his knee, which stems from the surgery he had following the Week 8 game against Houston. McGee had played four weeks on a bum knee after originally injuring it against Miami in Week 4 last year.
