Bills head coach Chan Gailey provided an update on his injured players following Thursday’s practice and he admitted that he could be without Bryan Scott and Keith Ellison Sunday.
When asked about whether Keith Ellison could miss some time due to his knee injury Gailey said the following.
“He’s not gone for a long time,” said Gailey. “He might miss a game or two.”
Gailey also followed up by saying that Bryan Scott was in a similar situation. Scott typically serves as a nickel linebacker with Paul Posluszny. If he can’t go he’s usually replaced by Keith Ellison. LB Reggie Torbor or S George Wilson would be the most likely replacement options for that subpackage, but we’ll see for sure on Sunday.
