Bills head coach Chan Gailey was glad to see defensive backs Jairus Byrd and Terrence McGee practicing Thursday, but they’re not out of the woods yet.
Gailey indicated after Thursday’s practice that both could be game time decisions come Sunday at Arrowhead.
“They weren’t 100 percent today, they were out there, taking the reps,” he said. “I think it’s going to be game time on a couple of those guys.”
Gailey also confirmed that LT Demetrius Bell just needed an extra day of rest after going 79 plays in last week’s game at Baltimore. It was the first time he made it through an entire game without being subbed, and it was a game in which Buffalo’s offense was on the field the longest all season. Bell is coming off major offseason knee surgery.
OT Cornell Green was the only player that did not practice.
