The Chiefs made a point of adding speed to their roster in the 2010 draft, but they could be missing one of those speed merchants this Sunday against the Bills.
According to a KCSP-TV report, McCluster’s ankle injury, which has allowed him to only participate on a limited basis in practice the past two days, is a high ankle sprain that will force him to miss several weeks.
McCluster is the Chiefs’ third leading receiver and third leading rusher. He’s also their primary punt returner. If he can’t play look for Chris Chambers to be back in the lineup at wideout after being a healthy scratch the past two weeks and fellow rookie Javier Arenas to take on more of the return game load.
