Head coach Chan Gailey said he’s not optimistic about having C.J. Spiller for next Sunday’s game at Cincinnati.
“For a running back a hamstring is always significant,” Gailey said. “They haven’t given me a final report, but I can’t imagine him playing this week. We’ll have to see how long it lasts.”
Spiller left the game in the first half and was declared out a short time later. Buffalo has Fred Jackson and Quinton Ganther at running back and Ganther was just signed this past Tuesday.
It’s possible they add another back in the interim, until Spiller is again healthy.
