In ProFootballFocus’ weekly rankings race for Defensive Player of the Year, top 3 candidate Kyle Williams just moved up another notch.
Williams is currently occupying the number two spot, up from number three last week. Here’s what PFF’s assessment of his play has been of late.
2. Kyle Williams, DT, Buffalo (+25.9)
Jumps into the top two with another high-caliber outing. Working with little support around him hasn’t hurt his productivity, as he leads tackles in defensive stops and is fourth in quarterback disruptions. Last week: 3rd
Hopefully Williams is able to practice effectively enough today after sustaining a hamstring injury in practice Wednesday.
