3 Browns downgraded to out

Posted by Chris Brown on December 12, 2010 – 7:53 am

Three Browns players on the Cleveland injury report have been downgraded to out.

LB Titus Brown (head), LB Scott Fujita (knee) and TE Evan Moore (hip) were also ruled out for today’s game late Saturday.

The three players had failed to practice all week and were originally listed at doubtful on Friday. Depending on the availability of starting ILB Eric Barton (shoulder) who is questionable for today’s game, Cleveland could very quickly be shorthanded at linebacker.

Barton was replaced in the starting lineup by veteran OLB David Bowens at ILB last week against Miami. And OLB Fujita, who has missed the last three games was replaced by Jason Trusnik, who is typically an ILB.

Suffice it to say that if Barton can’t go today, the Browns will have some juggling to do in their linebacking corps.

Meanwhile with TE Evan Moore out former Bills TE Robert Royal will assume the second TE duties for the Browns today.
