Bills FS Jairus Byrd, who had four tackles, a sack and a QB hit in the win over the Dolphins gave kudos to the Bills D-linemen for dictating the game.
“The D-line did a heck of a job making them one dimensional. Just hats off to the front,” said Byrd. “They did a heck of a job; the front seven. We were able to feed off of them. Once they stopped that run, they had to abort what they really wanted to do and go to a different game plan.”
Miami attempted just 19 rushes for 65 yards, which was a season low allowed by Buffalo this year.
“No, we just didn’t execute,” said Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown, who had 39 yards rushing. “We knew what they were gonna do as far as coming in and expecting them to play hard and they just executed more than we did.”
