Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and WR David Nelson will miss their first practice of the regular season here on Wednesday.
Head coach Chan Gailey confirmed that Fitz will sit out as a precaution due to general soreness from last week’s game. Nelson is sitting due to a rib injury suffered in the first half of last week’s game.
Gailey said Fitzpatrick is expected to practice on Thursday and be fine for Sunday’s game.
Nelson is considered a long shot to play in the season finale against the Jets.
