It’s official. Per a Stanford University press release, Andrew Luck is staying at Stanford for his senior season and will not declare himself eligible for the NFL draft.
Luck in a statement said in part, “I’m committed to earning my degree in architectural design and am on track to accomplish this at the completion of the spring of ’12.”
The Carolina Panthers said if Luck had entered the draft pool they would’ve been interested.
That’s not only bad news for Carolina, but it could be bad news for a team like the Bills that may have had their eye on another top prospect falling to them at three. With Luck, a sure fire top overall pick off the board, everyone else will move up and that could put a premier player Buffalo may have had their eye on out of reach.
