Over the weekend there was a report that the Eagles would entertain trade offers for backup QB Kevin Kolb. Now Kolb has reiterated his desire to start… somewhere.
Appearing on the Dan Patrick Show on Tuesday, Kolb was asked about his situation and about being a starter in the league.
“I just want to start somewhere and I feel like I’m ready,” Kolb told Patrick.
Kolb said that he doesn’t expect to compete with Vick for the job.
“Mike had a great year and did some very special things,” Kolb said.
Kolb said he had a sit-down with Andy Reid and let him know where he stands. He said he trusts Andy Reid and Kolb believes he will do right by him.
