According to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch report the Bills are interested in Rams free agent safety O.J. Atogwe.
The report says that Atogwe will visit with the Washington Redskins Tuesday with his former defensive coordinator and interim head coach Jim Haslett now the Redskins defensive coordinator.
But the report indicates that the Bills are believed to have interest as well with both George Wilson and Donte Whitner scheduled to become free agents.
Atogwe was released last week due to an $8 million roster bonus that was due on Monday. So Atogwe can sign with any team, any time up until March 4th. If there’s no new CBA he could not sign until there is a new labor agreement reached. Atogwe has been a productive safety in his career with 22 interceptions in his 88-game NFL career.
