Miami CB DeMarcus Van Dyke was asked who his toughest cover assignment was in his college career. His answer was a Buffalo Bill.
“I would say it was C.J. Spiller,” said Van Dyke. “He was tough off the line, but I haven’t talked to them here at the combine.”
Van Dyke, who said his fastest 40 time was a 4.3 flat, is expected to post a good 40 time here at the combine. He got familiar with Buffalo’s coaching staff at the Senior Bowl playing for the South Team.
“They were my coaching staff and I liked them,” he said. “They were pretty good.”
He models his game after Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie because he’s a tall corner like him at 6’1″. He’s forecast as a late round pick.
