George Wilson was happy to sign a multi-year deal with the Bills for a couple of reasons, not the least of which was to re-join the teammates in the secondary with whom he’s played for some time.
“I know when I call the guys to tell them I’m coming back they’ll all be happy,” Wilson told Buffalobills.com “Just because we all get along so well and we lean on each other whenever we’re having a tough time in practice or the game. We try to be our brother’s keeper and uplift each other. So I’m ecstatic to be able to come back and play with these guys.”
Wilson has played with Jon Corto, Reggie Corner, Terrence McGee, Leodis McKelvin and Bryan Scott all for at least three seasons. Jairus Byrd for two. Now all six of them are under contract for 2011.
