NFP mock goes DL for Bills

The National Football Post has just put out their latest mock draft (version 3.0) and they’ve got a defensive lineman going to Buffalo.

After Nick Fairley comes off their board first to Carolina, NFP has Denver taking Patrick Peterson and the Bills taking Marcell Dareus third overall.

Here’s what NFP’s Wes Bunting had to offer on why Dareus for Buffalo.

No matter what front the Bills want to run in 2011, Dareus will be able to find a home. He’s a thick, strong anchor player who has some natural athleticism and offers significant scheme versatility.

Personally, I’d be ecstatic if the Bills got Dareus. Talking to him at the combine and getting to see him up close after watching him on TV for the past two years I was sold. Like I wrote last month in this very space, Dareus, Kyle Williams and Dwan Edwards sounds like a pretty formidable front three.
