Bills fans prefer Shep
Posted by on March 28, 2011 – 8:15 amBased on fan voting by text to 64621, Bills fans overwhelmingly feel that LSU ILB Kelvin Sheppard would be the best fit for the Bills.
In the media center at Buffalobills.com as part of our Countdown to Draft Day series, we profiled the top five inside linebackers in this year’s class and LSU’s Kelvin Sheppard took home half of the vote over the other four prospects.
Buffalo’s personnel department and coaching staff have had a lot of exposure to Sheppard, having coached him at the Senior Bowl on the South Team and having hosted him for a pre-draft visit earlier this month.
Coming in 2nd in the voting was N.C. State ILB Nate Irving, another Senior Bowl participant with 25% of the vote.
The next position group to be profiled on Buffalobills.com are the tight ends. So be sure to watch and vote by texting Player1, Player2 etc. to 64621 for which one of the five prospects you feel is the best fit for the Bills. Standard text messaging rates apply. Voting results will appear here on the Inside the Bills Blog Tuesday evening.
