According to CBSSports.com four NFL clubs are looking to trade down from their spots in round one of the 2011 NFL draft.
Per the report Denver (2nd), Tennessee (8th), Washington (10th) and Chicago (29th) are all looking to move back. We mentioned here about previous reports that the Broncos want to move down, but they’re not likely to find a willing trade partner.
Tennessee is desperate for a quarterback, but if both Gabbert and Newton are off the board, they’ll be eager to move out of the 8th spot. Washington wants to acquire additional picks with no choices in the 3rd or 4th rounds this year. And Chicago per the report might try to move back into the top of the second round and still get a good lineman while accommodating a team eager to leapfrog other clubs to start the run on the second tier of quarterbacks.
