Bills assistant head coach/inside linebackers coach Dave Wannstedt in his address to a group of approx. 250 at the HSPD camp at the Bills Healthy Zone – “I’ve always been one to believe that we have opportunities as coaches to make a little bit of a difference and maybe have an influence.  There are 250 kids here and if one heard something that makes a difference that keeps him on that straight and narrow path then it was worth my time here.  It’s really hot in here for these kids to be in here working on a day like this I think it kind of sends a message that they’re looking for an opportunity and that’s great to see.”

Uniform Fact of the Day
As part of the NFL’s 75th Anniversary Celebration in 1994, each team wore a ‘throwback’ uniform for at least one game.  The Bills wore a uniform modeled after the team’s 1964-65 version.  The most distinguishing features of the throwback uniforms in 1994 included a white standing buffalo against a red helmet and red, white and blue striped socks. The Bills wore those uniforms for two games – at 15-7 road win at Houston on 9/19/94 (white jerseys) and a 27-20 home victory over Denver on Monday night, 9/26/94 (blue jerseys).
