When it comes to broken tackles on offense in 2010 there weren’t many teams that were better collectively than the Buffalo Bills and it’s due in large part to Fred Jackson.
Football Outsiders broke down the tape from 2010 and had Fred Jackson ranked 9th in the league among running backs with a broken tackle percentage of 13.4% with 34 total broken tackles on the season (more than two per game).
As an offense Buffalo ranked tied for third in the league in broken tackles with a 7.1% rate and a total of 73. Only Tampa Bay 8.1% and Philadelphia 7.5% fared better.
Jackson with 34 broken tackles had almost half of the team’s total (46%).
