Fred top 10 for pass blocking

Bills RB Fred Jackson has been highly ranked on a lot of lists put together by the folks at Pro Football Focus, the film reviewing group that crunches the numbers. Jackson is once again among the top 10 in another category.

Jackson, who ranks 7th in the league in pass blocking snaps with 132 from the 2010 season, ranks an impressive 8th in pass blocking efficiency allowing just five pressures the whole season. He also ranked second in the AFC behind only Cleveland’s Peyton Hillis.

I think it’s safe to say that Jackson went a long way in convincing the Bills staff last season that he can be an every down guy.
