QUOTE FOR THE DAY
Bills CEO Russ Brandon on the Uniform Launch Event tonight – “It’s going to be a great event. We have over 17,000 tickets distributed right now for the event. The Ralph Wilson Stadium gates will open at 5:45 pm and the parking lots open at 4:30 pm. We’ve got a lot of family-oriented activities for young people. And we’ve got pyrotechnics, a great stage and we’re going to have a lot of fun with it.”
NOTES AND NUMBERS
Uniform Fact of the Day
The Bills have had four distinct helmets over the years, starting with the original silver worn in 1960 and 61, then they introduced the white helmet with the standing buffalo, after that the standing buffalo became a charging buffalo and finally the team kept the charging buffalo and put it on a red helmet. There have been small changes to those variations over the years, including different facemask colors and striping down the center. The Bills even wore a red helmet with a white standing buffalo for a few games in 1994.
