Bills second-round pick Aaron Williams had a good first day on Saturday and wasn’t afraid to throw his weight around.
Williams was physical during 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 team work. His jams at the line of scrimmage provided a jolt to more than one receiver during practice where he stood them up at the line and completely disrupted the timing of the pass patterns.
“I think my size is an advantage,” he said. “Two-hundred-three pounds is a pretty good weight. I feel I should be in the 198-200 area. I felt I did well playing at 203, but I could lose some pounds. My size definitely helps me out against the big receivers and playing against the run.”
Williams practiced against bigger receivers in college at Texas and saw more than his share in the Big 12, so practice today against the likes of Stevie Johnson and David Nelson was nothing new for him.
