THIS DAY IN BILLS HISTORY
August 23, 1975 — RON JAWORSKI RETURNS TO BUFFALO WITH RAMS
A national television audience that excluded western New York saw the Bills upset the Los Angeles Rams 31-24 at a rainy Rich Stadium. West Seneca native Ron Jaworski returned home as quarterback of the Rams and passed for 168 yards.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY
Bills head coach Chan Gailey on the injuries to Donald Jones and Johnny White — “They’re both going to be back for the first ball game as I understand it.  Johnny will probably be back a little quicker than Donald.  I think they’ll both make the first ball game.”

PHOTO OF THE DAY

The Bills returned to Orchard Park and practiced on the team’s new, expanded grass practice field for the first time.  The new practice field, funded entirely by Mr. Wilson and the Buffalo Bills organization, has an improved drainage system that will allow the team to use the field more often.
