TE Nelson to get some time

Bills TE Shawn Nelson will dress for tonight’s game against the Lions, but how much playing time he gets will be another story.

Nelson only returned to practice this past Monday from an injury that had him miss most of training camp and the first three preseason games. As much as the coaching staff wants to see him get as much game action as possible, two days of practice is not enough to jump into a game and play three quarters without risking re-injury.

So Nelson will see time, but it figures to be limited in nature.
