THIS DAY IN BILLS HISTORY
September 16, 1974 — MONDAY NIGHT THRILLER
In their second Monday Night Football appearance, the Bills stunned the Oakland Raiders, 21-20, in one of the most exciting games in team history. Ahmad Rashad caught two TD passes in the final two minutes to give the Bills the victory.

QUOTE OF THE DAY
QB Ryan Fitzpatrick on the offensive line’s success in Week One and moving forward:
“I think they did a great job.  I think everybody now is recognizing the job that they did.  We’re done patting everybody on the back.  We’re moving on to this week and they’ve got to come out this week and do the same thing.  They’ve got to play well and they’ve got another huge challenge in front of them.  In order to play well they’re going to have to do some really good things because of how talented they are up front.  I know our guys are looking forward to the next game and continuing to get better every game.  I think that’s the biggest things.”
