BDC 9/28: Roster move, photo from Play 60 and more

— The Buffalo Bills announced that the team has promoted CB Terrence Wheatley to the 53-man roster from the practice squad.  Wheatley was signed to the Bills’ practice squad on September 13th. The 5-9, 185-pound Colorado product entered the NFL as a second-round (62nd overall) draft pick of New England in 2008. Wheatley appeared in 11 games with the Patriots before being released on November 6, 2010 and signing with Jacksonville on November 9th. He will wear No. 41. Buffalo released TE David Martin from the 53-man roster.  The Bills also announced that team has signed DB Brandon Bing to the practice squad.

“It feels good.  That being said, we’re three games into the season so there’s still a lot of games to be played and a lot of work.  There’s a lot of stuff we can correct from this last game.  The goal to get better every week and we need to continue to do that.”
