Fred gets Peter King praise

For Bills RB Fred Jackson it was just another productive day on Sunday when he rolled up 168 yards from scrimmage agains the Giants. The national media is finally starting to take notice.

SI.com’s Peter King had this line in his Monday Morning QB Column about Jackson.

Fred Jackson is, by far, the most under-appreciated running back in football. It wouldn’t surprise me if he becomes a star for the Bills the way Thurman Thomas was. Sixteen for 121 Sunday. Just another day.Jackson was not only the team’s leading rusher, but tied for the team lead with five receptions. Those five catches also tied for the team lead in the game. King mentioned Jackson a second time later in his column writing the following.

Fred Jackson is so good. You know what’s so impressive about him (and I knew this before his 80-yarder against the Giants)? His instincts. Such great feel for when he has tacklers around him.
