London Fletcher has never missed a game in his 14-year NFL career, a span covering 214 games counting the six games this season, but he did tweak a hamstring last Sunday. So what does he think about playing Sunday against the Bills?
“Heh, heh, heh,” Fletcher chuckled when asked if there shouldn’t even be a question about him playing. “I’m hopeful to be able to play and just continue to get treatment each and every day.”
Fletcher’s former teammates in Buffalo often marveled at Fletcher’s ability to strap it up week in and week out at such a punishing position.
“To never miss a game and play that long with the style he plays, it’s amazing,” Chris Kelsay told Buffalobills.com.
Not surprisingly, Kelsay fully expects to see Fletcher suited up for the game on Sunday.
“Oh yeah,” said Kelsay. “He’ll be out there.”
