BDC 11/4: Join the tailgate party

Posted by Bills Daily Charge on November 4, 2011 – 8:58 am

— The Buffalo Bills will host a special pregame Tailgate Party for fans during the remainder of the team’s home games this season beginning with the Jets game on Sunday, November 6, 2011.  The Bills Shredd & Ragan Tailgate Party is complimentary for fans and has been a popular and entertaining attraction throughout the Bills first three home games.

The Bills Shredd & Ragan Tailgate Party takes place in parking lot C behind the Bills scoreboard off Abbott Road.  The event will feature live music in addition to dance performances by the Jills Cheerleaders, special guest appearances and the Shredd & Ragan live pregame show on 103.3 The Edge.

The event is open to fans of all ages.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and there also will be Bills partners engaging with fans and providing giveaway items.

— The Buffalo Bills yesterday announced an agreement with WindStream Technologies to install their innovative, micro-wind turbines to generate supplemental energy for Ralph Wilson Stadium.

The agreement represents an effort by the Bills to evaluate alternative sources for power, including Western New York’s natural abundance of wind.  The WindStream TurboMill® units, installed on the west end of the stadium beneath the video scoreboard, are expected to begin producing power in time for the Bills’ home game against the Jets on November 6.  This represents the first deployment of micro-wind technology in an NFL stadium.

— S George Wilson will bring teammates and fans together for an evening of bowling, food, and fun in support of the George Wilson S.A.F.E.T.Y. Foundation tonight beginning at 7:00 pm at Manor Lanes in Tonawanda.  There  will be a silent auction of autographed memorabilia from Buffalo Bills athletes and various sports and entertainment legends. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the auction,  raffles and bowling as well as meet and mingling with some of their favorite Buffalo Bills players.   Food and drinks will be provided.  There is a $15 cover charge  (100% percent of the ticket proceeds will go to the George Wilson S.A.F.E.T.Y. Foundation)  Visit for  more information.
