Just a note for Bills fans on Stevie’s day against Darrelle Revis Sunday.
According to the stat crunches at ProFootballFocus, Stevie’s three-catch 84-yard day against Revis represents the most yardage he’s surrendered to an opponent in three years.
Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick in reviewing the game film felt he should have tried to go to Johnson more early in the game.
“I think at the beginning of the game I didn’t go to him as much as I should have,” said Fitzpatrick. “We went into the game knowing that would have been a good match-up, an interesting one to see. They are both very good players. Coming out of the game I think Steve did some really good stuff that we expected. I think that’s something that we’ll look at and carry over to the next game when we play them again.”
That’s a span of 61 games. I’m sure Stevie would’ve preferred to get a win, but felt it was worth noting.
