POSTGAME QUOTES
Head Coach Chan Gailey
Did you have anything to say to your team after a big loss like that?
I said nobody played well. No phase played well and that’s stating the obvious. I said, I believe in the character of the football team and we will regroup and continue to work to get better, but you have to go do it. Nobody is going to give you anything in this league, you have to go make it happen and we did not do that today. We didn’t start good, you turn it over, you don’t stop them, and you are going to get beat bad.

Do you think there will be an effect on losing two games in a row?
It can happen and my responsibility is to not let that happen. We have made progress, but you can’t play like this and see or feel it. My responsibility as the coach is to get our guys back to playing where we were playing earlier in the season. Right now we are more of a pretender than a contender.

On the turnovers
One of them the ball tipped off of Donald’s hands. I thought it could have been caught. I have to see it on film to see. It looked like it could have, it wasn’t a bad throw. The last two they likely got away from Fitz, and then Freddy fumbles. He did it last week, but he hadn’t done it before that at all. That’s another scoring opportunity missed.

QB Ryan Fitzpatrick
What’s compromising the consistency? What’s keeping you guys from hitting your stride?
The last two weeks it hasn’t been there. We haven’t been able to overcome some of the mistakes and slow starts and those things so that’s something we’ll do a little soul searching for and try to figure out as we get ready for next week.

What’s the level of concern…dropping back-to-back games
We’re obviously not happy in the locker room right now. It’s even hard to look ahead with how embarrassing that loss was.

The last two weeks we haven’t played like a playoff team and that’s something again that we need to go home and watch the tape and figure out why and why we haven’t played up to our standard and our expectations the last few games.

RB Fred Jackson
You guys have been getting down by a lot (of points) early…
Football games are different every time. You can’t say that you go in expecting to be down two or three touchdowns but it happens and we have to try and overcome that. We put ourselves in that situation, they made plays to put themselves in a situation to win the game and we put ourselves in bad situations. That’s just a credit to them. We didn’t make plays and they did.

CB Terrence McGee
On whether the team can bounce back:

You can always bounce back from a loss like this.  You never know what is going to happen next week.  That is all we can do right now is prepare for next week and put this behind us.

LB Danny Batten
On the game:

It was really disappointing.  I don’t know if we came out extremely flat?  Film will show what exactly it was.  We have to rally.  We have to fix something. We will figure it out on film, and something has to be fixed.  Something has to be done.  We have to respond, rally and win some games.

PHOTOS OF THE DAY
