BDC 11/16: 2 added to roster

–The Buffalo Bills announced that the team has promoted DB Josh Nesbitt and signed DE Kyle Moore to the 53-man roster. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Nesbitt has spent the first 10 weeks of the season on the team’s practice squad after joining the Bills as an undrafted free agent in July. The 6-1, 215-pound Georgia Tech product finished his collegiate career as the Atlantic Coast Conference leading rusher at the quarterback position with 2,806 yards and 35 touchdowns. Nesbitt will wear No. 47.

Moore has spent the first 10 weeks of the season on the Detroit Lions’ practice squad. The 6-6, 272-pound USC product entered the NFL as a fourth-round (117th overall) draft pick of Tampa Bay in 2009. He has played in 15 games and totaled 28 tackles (18 solo). Moore will wear No. 94.

The Bills re-signed WR Tim Toone to the Practice Squad and placed LB Chris White and C Eric Wood on Injured Reserve.

— The Buffalo Bills announced that LB Andra Davis was selected as the team’s Ed Block Courage Award winner. The Ed Block Courage Award is presented to the Buffalo Bills player who exemplifies a commitment to the principles of sportsmanship and courage. The recipient symbolizes professionalism, great strength, dedication and serves as a community role model for others.  Davis will take part in the 34th annual national Ed Block Courage Awards Foundation ceremony on March 13, 2012 at Martin’s West in Baltimore, MD and he will be honored with the 31 other award representatives from each NFL team.

On if he’s worried that “the blueprint is out on the table” for the offense:
If you look at both the games, just reviewing the film, a lot of it is just stuff we’re doing to ourselves and mistakes that we’re making. I think when you look at it that way you have to find a way to correct them. I think it’s a positive when you think it’s more you than what people are doing to you.


DL Marcell Dareus made an appearance yesterday at Tops in West Seneca where he signed autographs and posed for pictures with fans.
