Head Coach Chan Gailey
(On the struggles of his defense today and all year long) –
“Today, I don‟t have a lot of answers for you. I wish I did. I don‟t know. We‟ve been trying all year to get that done. Sometimes it tackling. Sometimes it‟s blown assignments. Sometimes we get out leveraged. It‟s a little bit of everything which is going to create looking bad. That‟s incumbent upon us as coaches to get them in the right spots. Let them be good football players. It‟s not like we got a bunch of slugs running around out there. We got some pretty good football players. We just got to try to keep getting better.”

RB Fred Jackson
(On moving forward) – “The first thing we have to do is win another game. We have to figure out what’s going on and get in there and study. We don’t know what the answers are right now, but we will. We’ll figure out what’s going wrong and we’ll correct it.”

RB C.J. Spiller
(On being stopped on the goal line 4 times in a row) – “That’s on me, I should have punched that in. I’ll dwell on that watching it on film. The guys did a great job of hacking it up and I just didn’t punch it in. That series right there, that’s all on me, it should have been six points.”

(On starting to win games again) – “Just come back and keep getting better. There’s still a lot of football left, we can’t throw in the towel yet. Just got to keep fighting, keep believing in each other. We just have to learn from our mistakes and then go up to New York and lay it on the line again.”

LB Nick Barnett
(On the Bills defensive performance today) – “Well, I mean, obviously we didn’t play the game we wanted to play. We didn’t get off the field on third down. Couldn’t cause any turnovers, and that’s the name of the game. We gave up a lot of turnovers. They didn’t get first down and third down, and we did the opposite on defense. That’s what it boils down to. From here, where do we go? Try to improve. Try to get better. Figure out, and get to where we’re playing and having fun. There’s where it is. Then energy and all of that. We did some good things today on defense. But just didn’t do everything. We hade some coverage, some miscommunication, and all of that type of stuff. We got to clean all of that up if we want to be good.”

(On if the Bills think they can win a game the way they are playing) – “Well if we play like that, we won’t beat anybody. I think we got all the talent in the world. We got a lot of talent out there. You know, what’s going on? Shoot, we got to figure that out. We’re doing some good things, then we are just farting, you know, in some situations. We got to clean it up and go out there with attitude and turn this thing around.”

K Dave Rayner connected on two field goals in Miami, including a career-long 56-yarder – which also ties as the second longest in Bills history.
