Posted by Bills Daily Charge on December 2, 2011 – 9:44 am

— The Buffalo Bills and Orchard Park Fire District have teamed up to purchase an all-terrain all-weather emergency vehicle in an effort to enhance the team’s game day emergency response capabilities.

District Chief Dan Neaverth, Jr. said, “The collaborative effort involved in the purchase of this equipment exemplifies the team’s commitment to fan safety and game day experience. This public-private partnership will also greatly improve the Orchard Park Fire District’s 24/seven, 365 operation.”

The addition of the six-passenger ATV allows fire/rescue and EMS to better meet the challenges of game day operations, including quicker access to remote parking areas and inaccessible terrain surrounding Ralph Wilson Stadium. The vehicle includes features such as a 70-gallon fire suppression with F-500 foam capability and stokes basket for patient transport and will be utilized to meet various year-round needs by the Orchard Park Fire District in addition to those on game days.

Head Coach Chan Gailey
On the play of Titans RB Chris Johnson and his play of late:
I wish he would have waited a couple for weeks on that. He played extremely well. They blocked well last week. Things seem to be coming together in their running game. It had been a while for them. That’s a huge challenge for us. It’s something that we said coming into the season, we’ve got to stop the run. It’ll be a challenge for us.

Jim Kelly went 8-for-8 for 229 yards and three touchdowns in the first quarter in a game where the Bills used the “No Huddle” offense for the first time. The Bills then held on for a 30-23 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles at Rich Stadium.
