DAILY REPORT
—  The Buffalo Bills announced that Saturday’s game against the Denver Broncos at Ralph Wilson Stadium has not sold out and will be blacked out on local television. Tickets are still available for purchase for this weekend’s Bills-Broncos game and fans may obtain them by going online at buffalobills.com, by visiting Western New York Ticketmaster outlets or the Ralph Wilson Stadium ticket office, or by calling 1-877-BB-TICKS (228-4257).  Club seats and other premium seating opportunities are also available.

On the challenges that Denver’s defense presents:
They’ve got great outside rushers. That’s one of the things they have going for them is they have those two speed guys off the edge. That’s a challenge for our offensive line. A lot of times you might just say that’s a challenge for our tackles but it’s a challenge for our whole offensive line because if we slide one way we’ve got to get some help. It’ll be a challenge for everybody. And they’ll put one of those two guys inside from time to time as well.

December 22, 1959 — FIRST GENERAL MANAGER HIRED
Dick Gallagher, former Cleveland Browns assistant coach and director of personnel, was named Bills’ first general manager.

The Buffalo Bills offensive linemen treated 20 young men (ages 12-16) to a Holiday Shopping Spree at Macy’s in the Galleria Mall.  The young men belong to the Closing the Gap Schools in the Buffalo Public School System.
