After picking off Tim Tebow four times Saturday the Bills have put themselves in position to lead the AFC in interceptions in 2011.
Buffalo now has 20 interceptions on the season, which is tied for fourth-best in the NFL with Detroit. It’s also the highest total in the AFC.
Kansas City and New England are Buffalo’s closest pursuers for the conference lead in interceptions with 19 each.
The Bills will likely need an interception or two in the season finale at New England, which may not be an easy feat knowing Tom Brady doesn’t make many mistakes. Then again Buffalo did victimize him with four interceptions in the first meeting with the Patriots this season. Ryan Fitzpatrick is also going to have to go a second straight game without a pick to help keep Buffalo ahead of New England in that category. The Chiefs play at Denver this week.
