— The Buffalo Bills announced the team has promoted three front office personnel.
Dan Evans has been promoted to Vice President of Information Technology, while Andy Major has earned the title of Vice President of Event Operations and Guest Experience. Additionally, Gregg Pastore has been promoted to Senior Director of Digital Media.
Evans previously served as Executive Director of Information Technology, having joined the Bills in September of 1998 as Manager of Information Systems. In his role, Evans provides vision and leadership in the development and implementation of information technology initiatives for the Bills organization. A native of Buffalo, he currently is a member of the Technical Advisory Committee for the National Football League.
Major is beginning his fifth season with the Bills and 18th in the NFL. In his new role, he will now oversee the event sales and operations, guest services, event marketing, parking and access, and event staffing divisions. Major will also be responsible for implementing the team’s fan experience initiatives in concert with the National Football League’s best practices. As Executive Director of Marketing for the Bills from 2008-2011, he handled the supervision of the Bills television network, website, creative services, scoreboard, and game day entertainment divisions. Major was also responsible for implementing the team’s corporate and community communications and marketing initiatives.
Pastore enters his 11th season with the organization, overseeing the execution of all online marketing initiatives and managing a digital staff that produces daily content for a robust website that generates more than 50 million page views per year. He is also responsible for brand presence on external websites, including Facebook and Twitter. In 2011 Pastore strategized and oversaw the launch of a mobile application that has generated over 75,000 downloads. Additionally, he developed the Buffalo Bills 50th season anniversary micro-site in 2009 that won two Interactive Media Awards (Best in Class – Sports and Best in Class – Entertainment) and received over 100,000 hits and generated more than 42,000 registered voters.
