Last year Buffalo picked third overall in the draft giving Buddy Nix and company the sure fire knowledge that they were going to get one of the top three prospects in the draft class. That won’t be the case this time around.
The Bills pick 10th overall in April and that makes knowing whether the two or three prospects they’ve got targeted will still be on the board at that time a bit more of a guessing game.
“It gets harder and harder every year the further down you go,” said head coach Chan Gailey. “You just have to wait and see and then you start to prepare once you get to about pick seven or eight and you start to narrow it down and see what’s there and who your pick may be. I think you’ll have an idea on draft day of who probably the top four or five will be and you can take it from there.”
