One of the top defensive tackles in this year’s draft class won’t be running a 40 or bench pressing Monday.
LSU DT Michael Brockers is going to wait until his pro day to run a 40 and do the bench press.
“I plan on not running,” said Brockers. “I’m going to run on March 22nd at my pro day. I’ll do all the broad jumps and three cone drill and all that. I’m just not running the 40 and benching. It was just my choice. I feel like I need some more reps under my belt. I want it to be perfect so I might as well get some more technique under my belt and wait until my pro day to do it perfectly.”
Brockers has been widely forecast as a top 10 pick.
